Pastor Ovella was raised in Detroit, graduated from DPSCD Mackenzie High School, and studied mass communications at Henry Ford Community College.

She began her journey in ministry at 18 years old. She began attending church services at Obedient M.B. church, where she served as organist under the late Rev. D. Walker Sr. 

Shortly after accepting Christ at age 18, her mom suddenly passed. It was then that she developed a deep quest to know God. Her journey ultimately led her to Dr. Emery Moss Jr, Pastor of Strictly Biblical Bible Teaching Ministries. For 10 years, while serving as Minister of Music, she achieved ETA  training in biblical studies as well as her teaching accreditation through the Ecumenical

Theological Seminary, under Pastor Emery Moss.

 In May 2005, God gave her the vision to organize Always in Jesus Presence Ministries

where she now serves as Sr. Pastor. After 26 years of serving in music ministry, with great reluctance, she accepted the call to Pastor in June 2007.This year, June 2025 marks her 18th  year anniversary as Pastor.

In 2010, She founded and organized The United Communities of America, a 501C3 nonprofit corporation. Their mission focuses on the reduction of crime through the promotion of peace, healing, and positive change. The UCOA has been awarded proclamations by Mayor Dave Bing, Mayor Mike Duggan and 13 other Mayors

and city councils, declaring each 22nd day as No Violence Day. Citizens are asked to wear white and be intentional about promoting peace on the 22nd, aka CODE22. In 2020, during COVID, she enrolled to achieve her Purpose Development Coaching

Certification from The Purpose Development Institute, Atlanta, Georgia. Her coaching

practice is integrated into the CODE22 violence reduction curriculum and is currently

being implemented in Kenross Correctional Centre, Chippewa Valley Correctional

Centre, and Dickerson Juvenile Detention Center.

In 2024, she authored her 1st book, Victory is your Purpose. This work is dedicated to

helping others overcome purpose deficits. Through transformative insights, readers are

given tools to become the best version of themselves through purpose development.

Pastor Ovella is the mother of 3 adult children. Her eldest son is in the NFL. Defensive tackle Carl Davis, Washing Commanders. Her second son who is a performer at Disney and her daughter who is a manager for Hilton Hotels. Pastor Ovella loves the Lord, his word and his people, and her passion is to “know God and make to Him known.”

In a world where most are concerned with climbing the corporate ladder to success, Lanette Pinkard is more focused on becoming that ladder for many. Where others see handicaps and hopelessness, Lanette, a pastor, speaker, and author, sees greatness. As a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA), sign language was Lanette's first language, a skill that opened doors to a 45-year career as a professional sign language interpreter.

With well-developed people skills and a genuine desire to see others made whole, Lanette helps even the most broken individuals feel loved and nurtured, guiding them to discover their God-given purpose and passion.

 Pastor Lanette’s work with the Deaf community, both professionally and in ministry, has empowered women from various backgrounds to walk confidently and boldly through their challenges, motivating them to recognize their victory. Lanette's expertise and gift in sign language have allowed her to interpret for iconic figures such as Nelson Mandela, Patti LaBelle, CeCe Winans, The Temptations, former Vice President Joe Biden, and Hillary Clinton, among others. Her gift has indeed made room for her, bringing her before great men and women. She has also written several articles featured in magazines like Forbes, NY Weekly, Entrepreneur Break, and the Nigeria Tribune, to name a few. As an ordained and commissioned pastor with over 30 years in ministry, Lanette diligently works to tear down walls of wounded pasts and generational curses. Because of her forthrightness when speaking, she has affectionately earned the nickname “Pastor Bam.” She uses biblical principles, authentic storytelling, and real-life comparisons to bring impactful truth to her audiences. She takes an open, honest, and sometimes comical approach to dealing with situations, turning stumbling blocks into stepping stones that lift others towards their purpose and destiny. She guides women through healing and deliverance, helping them find their voice and share their experiences to inspire others. In addition to her Honorary Doctorate of Divinity and a Bachelor of Biblical Studies, Lanette is a Nationally Certified Sign-language Interpreter (NIC Master). As an entrepreneur, she has founded and developed My Hands Your Heart®, Cruise Interpreter Academy, and Women in Healing Ministries. Now, the Lord has instructed her to work in ministry full-time. Under Women in Healing Ministries, they are anticipating the soon-coming conference tour: "She Arises," which has already been scheduled in Chicago, Michigan, and Kenya, Africa.

 Lanette has co-authored one book with her husband, "Married Out of Obedience," and authored several books: "GPS vs. GPS, Which is Leading You?"; "A Myriad of Miracles," and "Praises of Thanksgiving to Lift Your Spirit" Book and Companion to the Journal. Recognizing that her privileges and opportunities come from a close walk with God, Lanette finds the greatest fulfillment in teaching the Word of God and witnessing the Lord’s great work in healing and deliverance in His people.

Rev. Dr. Genetta Y Hatcher is affectionately referred to as “The Preacher in Blue Jeans.” Her guiding

scripture is John 21:15-17, in which the Lord commissions Peter to feed His sheep. Pastor Hatcher’s greatest passion is encouraging God’s people into a Christ-centered wholeness. This shows up in her preaching, teaching, serving and simply being present in the lives of people both within and outside of the 4 walls of the church. 

Pastor Hatcher was privileged to serve in numerous leadership positions during her almost 35 years with AT&T before her retirement. She affectionately refers to her time at AT&T as her “first” pastoral position.  After retiring from AT&T, Pastor Hatcher began working at Ecumenical Theological Seminary (ETS) in Detroit. Five of those years were spent serving as the Vice President of Administration, Finance and

Student Services. She resigned in 2020, feeling assured that her assignment there was complete. It was a labor of love. 

For more than 35 years, Pastor Hatcher faithfully served the Third New Hope Baptist Church in Detroit in numerous servant roles, including the Campus Pastor of their West location for close to 10 years.  She remains grateful for her time there. 

Pastor Hatcher graduated from the amazing Cass Technical High School in Detroit. She proceeded to earn a BA from Spring Arbor University and both a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degree from Ecumenical Theological Seminary.  

Pastor Hatcher is the proud founding pastor of “The Room Church” in Roseville, Michigan. They officially launched September 2021 and since then have seen The Hand of The Lord move in amazing ways. In February 2024, they were blessed to purchase their first worship space. God be praised! 

Pastor Hatcher loves God, life, people, and ice cream. 

Evang. Pam Kennedy was born again in 1990 while attending a Monday night ministry meeting under the leadership of Rudolph and Lois Ellis, today known as Apostle Rudolph Ellis and Sr Pastor Lois Ellis.  There she received much-needed healing and deliverance after suffering a traumatic

twenty-year addiction to drugs and the lifestyle. 

She became a group leader and counselor in the After Christ Ministry meetings and has assisted with the radio broadcasts for the ministry. She has volunteered her services with Positive Images Lift Women Resource Center, Naomi’s Nest, Genesis House III, Shar House, and other outreach facilities for addicted/battered women and their children.  Evangelist/Pastor Pam Kennedy also volunteered and served in Prison Ministry, facilitated workshops in the Detroit Public School system with presentations on Substance Abuse Prevention/Intervention.  She has attended classes under many strictly bible-teaching pastors and has attended and completed biblical studies at William Tyndale Bible College.  Pamela was employed with AT&T for twenty years and is currently retired. The ministry that the Lord has blessed her with has blessed many in her job and is yet affecting the lives of those in need of healing and deliverance near and far. In 2014, Pam received an Honorary Doctorate for doing the work of the ministry.

Today she preaches and teaches the Word of God and seeks to evangelize those that are yet without Christ as Lord and Savior and those suffering from adverse situations and circumstances of life. She and her husband, Pastor Dana Kennedy, virtually pastor Sweep the Streets Ministries under the umbrella of After Christ Christian Center. Pastor Pam oversees a women’s ministry “Treasures of Deliverance”.  She is the author of the book titled “Coming Out of Utter Darkness”. She and her husband are both in recovery, married for thirty-four years and she now has thirty-fiveyears in recovery.  Pastor Pamela Kennedy presently, by God’s grace and mercy, exemplifies divinechange in her life to the glory of God.  She is God’s woman for the hour and for such a time as this.

By God’s power, she is advancing the Kingdom of God.

Nikki is a native of Michigan. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing/international

business and a master’s degree in education. Nikki is an educator, an author, and enjoys volunteering, mentoring, and assisting with program development for non-profit organizations.

As a survivor of breast cancer twice (currently in treatment), she knows the importance of having and maintaining faith and walking in the Power of God. She operates in the gifts of prophecy, healing, deliverance, and worship. She is a leader in her local church and serves on the Women in Healing Ministries’ team as a minister, intercessor, and program developer.
